Due Diligence Fellowship Program PDF Print E-mail

Launched in Fall 2006, the mission of the Due Diligence Fellowship Program is to assist angel investors in early stage due diligence in order to facilitate faster, better informed and more confident investment decisions by the angels

Fellows do not provide investment advice, but simply conduct preliminary research to assist angels in conducting research on potential investments. The program trains and educates students on angel investing and entrepreneurship, accelerates entrepreneurship and investment, and thus, support economic development by helping to attract and retain talent and money in Pennsylvania.

PAN fellows are advanced students; eligibility includes both current undergrad and graduate students, selected from colleges and universities in Pennsylvania and recent graduates.  This program provides practical experience to the fellows about conducting due diligence and education on angel investing, entrepreneurship, and growing a small business. In addition, angel investors play an active role in working with the fellows.

To date, fellows attending schools from across Pennsylvania, have reviewed companies from industries such as: life sciences- pharmaceutical/medical devices, energy, clean and green, food/beverage, gaming, internet, software, media, web 2.0, and consumer products.
